A friendly, honest note about what our guidance is, what it is not, and how we keep the lights on.

Last updated July 2026

We put a great deal of care into everything on Pets Bubble, and we want you to get the most from it. To do that, it helps to understand the spirit in which it is written. Please take a moment to read this page.

General guidance, not professional advice

Everything on this site is offered as general information for new pet owners. It is here to help you feel prepared and calm, not to serve as veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice. Your pet is a unique little individual, and no article can know them the way you and your vet do.

Always talk to your vet

When it comes to your pet's health, diet, vaccinations, or any sign that something is not right, your veterinarian is the only proper source of advice. Please do not delay a call to them because of something you read here. If you ever think your pet is unwell or in distress, contact your vet or an emergency clinic straight away.

Our affiliate links

Pets Bubble takes part in affiliate programmes. This means some of our links lead to trusted stores, and we may earn a small commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We only ever suggest gear we would genuinely recommend to a friend. A commission never buys a place on our lists.

Advertising

We also show a small number of ads on some pages, which help keep every plan and checklist free to read. The ads you see are served by third parties and are not chosen by us on a page by page basis. Seeing an ad is not an endorsement from us of that product or service.

Links to other websites

From time to time we link out to other sites we think are useful. We do our best to point you toward good ones, but once you leave Pets Bubble we have no control over their content or their practices. Visiting them is your own decision, so please use your judgment.

Doing our best on accuracy

We work hard to keep our guides correct and up to date, and we revise them as advice evolves. Even so, we cannot promise that every detail is complete or perfectly current at all times. Please treat our guidance as a helpful starting point and pair it with the advice of professionals who know your pet.
